The RegTech industry has experienced huge growth in the last few years as banks and financial institutions grapple with the unrelenting pace of regulatory change across all jurisdictions. Over $5bn has been invested in RegTech companies so far in 2020, according to data published by RegTech Analyst, as the compliance challenges have only been exacerbated by the shift to remote work during Covid-19.
As a result, this year’s scenario was more competitive than ever.
What is the RegTech100?
The RegTech100 is an annual top 100 list of the world’s most innovative RegTech companies that set out to remedy regulatory issues within financial services. Each year, a panel of analysts and industry experts vote from a list of 1,000+ companies provided by RegTech Analyst. The finalists are recognised for their innovative use of technology to solve a significant industry problem or to generate cost savings or efficiency improvements across the compliance function.
The RegTech 100 directs senior management and compliant professionals determine which solutions have the most market potential and a higher chance of leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
